Cons: Large and hungry.
It's very fast. Max settings on AAA games at 1080p, and FPS in 90-120 FPS range. This particular card has benchmarks almost in line with an average GTX 1080.
It is very large though (see photos of empty mobo and card in place). Taking up 3 slots, and being almost 11 inches in length, be sure you have a case that can take it, and whatever drive caddies or water cooling you plan for will fit too. Also be aware, that once in place, the card prevents access to the M.2 slot of the X470 motherboard (and presumably most mobos), so get the M.2 installed first, and also suggest you check what else might be blocked by the card's width and length (e.g. USB 3 header on mobo).
It's also very power hungry. Of the 23 1070 Ti cards I had available to me on PC Part Picker, this card has the highest TDP of 235W. That's the price you pay for getting a 1070Ti to run at near 1080 speeds. The cooling is fantastic though, as the temps in the case top out at 65C, and it heats the room nicely. :D
(Which requires good case airflow, which means the case fans are louder than the card...)
So be sure to get a robust PSU for running with this card. It requires 2 x 8 pin connectors, and EVGA recommend two cables, rather than running it from a single cable. My Seasonic 750W Gold rated PSU could easily do this.
To sum up. I expected a big, power-hungry card that would turn out great GFX, and without killing my ears, so this review is based on those expectations.
Lastly, the price. At the time of purchase, the 1070s were in the £350 to £450 range, the 1070 Tis were in the £425 to £500 range, and the 1080s were in the £475 to £550 range. This card was consistently in the £475 or higher price bracket, and I got it for £395, so I got a card with almost 1080 speeds for the price of a 1070 (at that time), so am quite happy. I'd be happier if all the cards weren't so pricey. Most expensive card I ever bought.
