5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing MOBO, no regrets.

Oh man let me tell you, this product saved me. I bought parts from the ground up for a computer build, and this mobo is literally the reason I was able to complete it. When everything was installed and I booted up the computer, no display was received. At the start I was scared because I thought the VGA was broken, but I read the manual that came with this mobo and troubleshooted the error code it gave me. After receiving the message multiple times saying that there was no memory, I finally learned how to fit RAM in the right way..only took a million tries -_-.
Now for the real part of the review. This mobo is pretty high end, I can run off Wi-Fi or run wired whenever I feel like it, and has multiple Ethernet ports for LAN gaming. I love the bios. This bios is king and very easy to use, especially for someone like me who has NEVER overclocked before. The bios comes with preset levels of overclocking so I just select those, and my computer runs very smooth.
In conclusion this product is amazing. It was worth the time to write this review because it saved my computer build, has such a nice BIOS and overall looks like a beast.

1.0 out of 5 stars I'm glad this was included with the MSI Z370 motherboard package

This is the problem with this board, no sound. The error message I'm receiving is Nahimic 2 is not compatible. Some are waiting for a MSI BIOS update to fix this problem. I'm using my mic in and headphone in ports on my monitor and I'm able to get sound. I can't get sound from the ports on the motherboard, because of compatibility issues with Nahimic 2, audio driver and MSI. I've noticed lots of complaints with Nahimic and MSI with laptops from way back in July, the release of Windows 10 anniversary and compatibility issues. I got lucky and had a monitor with ports on it. That motherboard is a giant utility and driver nightmare, but I made it work.

MSI mystic light is complete garbage, if your going for an RGB Mortherboard stay away from MSI. Forced to DL a bloatware app. Then I still haven’t figured out how to get the LED control function on the app. A complete cluster F of an ordeal. First MSI product, and last. They should have a simple program like Thermaltake RGB software. Or some way of doing it in the bios!

Update: figured out how to get mystic lighting to work. It’s called mystic light 2 and had to find the link to get it from a reddit post. So I increased from 1 Star to 3. If MSI had better links to needed program and not try to push that bloatware gaming app would be 5* MB from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXTREMELY good board

Honestly, guys if you get a defective board, try your very best not to jump on Amazon, the largest retailer in North America, and throw up a 1 star. The people that get boards that are working just fine ( like myself ) are shocked to see that the mega-board we just sunk money into that is throwing up numbers the likes of which we have never seen, is getting a "do not buy" because of a bad board.

We all know that moment of truth when you power up your rig after a new build, and the "fingers crossed" moment that you hope all your new components are going to play nice together and/or power on and work at all. As builders we all know the possibility of getting a bad piece exists. Amazon is not a fly-by-night company, and you will get a replacement.

Now, if you get multiple bad products, I agree, warn the people. But especially for a new product, seriously temper these early reviews. New products have growing pains in this industry, and you stand to deter people from what could otherwise be a stellar product.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love that they have the extra M

I recently purchase this motherboard to do a high-end build along with MSI GTX 1080Ti GAMING X 11G. So far the system has been running smoothly and all games are played at MAX setting. The is a well made and high-quality components motherboard. I love that they have the extra M.2 because I don't plan to use SSD since M.2 is great for cable management.

I'm happy and satisfy with MSI product thus far. They have improved in their products since my last purchase last year. The only con I have is that the board might not fit all cases so make sure you check.

This motherboard is worth a look if you have money to spend, otherwise, go with MSI lower models.
