Solid SSD for normal use
+ Longevity+ It actually (physically) looks nice? Weird to say that for a drive! Looks great in the case.- Sizing for this model becoming too small- Data speeds not cutting edge any longer, many faster drives nowI've had this SSD since 2013 as my boot drive. It has come with me for three different PC upgrades now, and I've written 18,619 GB to it over this time and its drive health is still at 100%. I'm not a power user so that's probably nowhere near as extreme as others, but I'm still very pleased with its longevity. Several other SSDs have failed on me during this one's lifespan. Its temperature is also consistently better than my Samsung EVO and Intel SSDs (their temps are visible in upper left and you can see the Kingston is lower) despite being in the same area of the case with similar airflow. The other two are used only for data storage and aren't accessed constantly like the Kingston is. My Samsung is about 3 years old with far fewer writes/reads and its health has already dropped below 100%, for comparison. The main negative now is that these drives are becoming a bit small and slow as our file sizes and data transfer technologies grow, so this iteration of the HyperX will likely become obsolete soon. If the newer drives made by Kingston are anything like this one, I will surely get them when I upgrade my boot drive.
