About this item

  • Phanteks patented P.A.T.S (Physical Antioxidant Thermal Shield) technology dramatically increases the cooling performance and reliability of PH-TC90LS by deflecting thermal radiation from other heat sources, like GPU, South Bridge, North Bridge, and etc.
  • Phanteks patented C.P.S.C Technology is a new innovative forming deposit tht transfers heat onto corresponding metals at a more rapidly rate. PH-TC90LS enhances thermal conductivity on the soldered surfaces of the heat-pipes thru the copper deposits.
  • The PH-TC90LS is made to ensure it has the least amount of air and thermal resistance. To prevent mechanical conflicts with other components, PH-TC90LS follow Intel's Keep-Out-Zone (95x95mm) requirements.
  • Phanteks PH-F90 PWM Premium fans uses UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) bearing, Nine blades and MAFO (Maelstrom Air-Fort Optimization) drive system to achieve massive airflow and perfect dynamic balance.
  • PH-TC90LS takes less than 1 minute to install. It requires 4 screws and the rotational back plate for the Intel LGA 2011/1155/1156 to tightly secure it to MB.
  • Compatibility: Intel Socket 2011/1155/1156. Color: White. Materials: Copper (Base and Heat-pipes), Nickel Plated Aluminum Cooling Fins with patented P.A.T.S. and C.P.S.C technology. Fan Model: PH-F90 PWM Premium Fan. Fan Size: 92x92x15mm
  • Bearing Type: UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) Bearing. Blade Geometry: White Colored Nine Blades Design. PH-F90 PWM RPM: 1000 - 2500 ± 300 RPM. Max Air Flow: 11.53 - 28.67 CFM. Max Air Pressure: 0.21 - 1.34mm H2O. Acoustical Noise: 19 - 26 dB(A)
  • Input Power: 3W. Current (Ampere): 0.25A. Rate Voltage :12V. MTBF: >150.000 hr. Heatsink Dimensions (LxWxH) without Fan: 95x95x27mm. Heatsink Dimensions (LxWxH) with Fan: 95x95x43mm. Heatsink Weight without Fan: 235g. Heatsink Weight with Fan: 273g

Great cooler for 85 watt or lower
Great cooler for 85 watt or lower.LIttle fanmay not look like much but provides enough static pressure to keep my XEON L5640 in my server around 33C when Idle and keeps it around 65-67 on full load. Not really CON:the space it occupies is 95mm square. not an issue in single CPU but in dual CPU set ups that have space limitations you wont be able to fit side by side.My supermicro board had heatsinks about 90mm square allowing for (2) 92mm coolers any larger and it would have to be (like mine) a 95/90mm split for both coolerrs to fit.

Small, solid feeling CPU cooler. Sadly mine came missing a rubber fan strip. But it also blocked headers on my Intel DH77DF mini-ITX motherboard--specifically the ones directly above the PCI-E slot, which includes the CPU fan. Had to return.

I bought this cooler because I needed something that was low profile but would not block the PCI connector or have issues with tall memory modules on a Mini-ITX motherboard. It was easy to install, does not block any access and is capable of cooling my Core i7 processor even when under full load. As a bonus, it really is quiet under normal load but yet has the ability to ramp up when under heavy load (when I can finally hear it!)

As other reviewers have mentioned, I was missing one of the rubber strips that go between the fan and the sink. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned it for a replacement. The same thing happened again -- still missing a rubber strip in the packaging. It seems this company has to get its quality control together and actually check the accessories.

The cooler base is a solid flat piece, so the downward air flow that would normally cool motherboard components doesn't seem to happen; heat is kind of "trapped" under the cooler. In a SFF case, the stock cooler was better than this. With better case airflow, it might perform better.

Disappointed by its performance - swapped it out for another cooler from Noctua NH-L9i which has performed much better and is also much easier to install since there are no fan clips used to attach the fan to the heatsink.
