Performance: 10/10 (40% of the final score)
I can't say anything bad about the unit's performance. It's been a great unit that has also been highly efficient not just for its power usage, but for how quiet the unit actually is. This may not be a fanless unit, but I feel like it really delivers the best of both worlds and makes me feel better to have a fan helping cool my components.
Features: 9.5/10 (20% of the final score)
The Dark Power Pro 11 is definitely a feature packed high performance PSU. It has incredible design aspects, it has dashing looks, it does everything I want it to except for the fact that it's not fully modular. I really liked the direction Be quiet! was going with the OCK connector. However, it really left me wishing this unit had a software component to it. We don't live in a perfect world, but it would have made the experience that much better.
Components/Build Quality: 10/10 (20% of the final score)
There isn't much to say here. Be quiet! has gone all out on the design of this unit and on the quality components housed within. It's the nicest chassis I've seen this year and given that this is an FSP unit, the internals are assembled with great finesse.
Value: 9/10 (20% of the final score)
At the time of writing, Newegg lists the Dark Power Pro 11 850w at ~$160. However, that's unfortunately not the full story since it's on sale and is regularly ~$180. While that's not an outrageous price for a premium 850w Platinum rated unit, it's still a bit costlier than the competition that is on par performance wise. The decision really comes down to if the feature set is worth it. I personally would not be opposed for picking up this unit on sale or at full price.
