The Digifanless has been a fantastic performer throughout testing. My one concern going into this was the heat generated by the unit. The warnings included with the unit explicitly state that its vents remain unobstructed. This was especially concerning for my testing scenario since my current case uses a shroud to completely cover and separate the PSU from the rest of the components. However, after many hours of testing, I wasn't able to induce any negative effects on the Enermax Digifanless. The unit survived what I thought might be beyond it's intended use and truly impressed me. Not only did it pass from a reliability standpoint, but also it maintained its platinum efficiency throughout all of our test scenarios.
One aspect of performance that is different with this unit is the ZDPMS software. The ZDPMS created a unique testing experience. It's a lightweight application and worked on Windows without any issues. However, I must state that the software is not meant for your average consumer. It allows customization to the point of potentially being detrimental to the PSU. This isn't a performance problem; in fact it is a fantastic feature in the right hands. However, with great power comes great responsibility and it's something to keep in mind if you do decide to customize anything with the ZDPMS interface.
The Digifanless has proved to be a very reliable unit, withstanding more than I thought it able. That is in no small part due to the high-end Japanese components used throughout. The Digifanless has proven itself as a formidable power supply with an even more potent feature set.
