The Enermax Digifanless is packed full of great features. Included in the box we have the Power Supply which has a warning label wrapped around it letting the user know that it must be installed with the vent facing up. Aside from the unit itself Enermax provides a power cord, two instructional manuals (One for the PSU the other for the ZDPMS), all of the modular cables, the cable retention clip, mounting hardware, velcro cable ties, and an Enermax case badge.
I never thought the exclusion of a fan would be a feature, but it truly is. With its absence, the unit becomes extremely quiet maintaining 0.0dB of noise produced even under maximum load. You will not find a quieter unit out there, and Enermax has gone all out to make this an incredibly feature rich unit.
In my previous review of the Enermax Revolution Xt II, I had a couple of qualms with the unit. The first of those started with the included ribbon cables. Enermax went above and beyond with the Digifanless by including individually sleeved cables. Cable types included are 1x 24-Pin ATX cable, 1x EPS/ATX12V cable, 4x 6+2-Pin PCI-E Connector, 4x Molex, 8x SATA connectors, 1x FDD cable, and finally 1x ZDPMS data link connector. The sleeved cables provide a great aesthetic appeal to any enthusiast system and are a great inclusion for this unit.
My second complaint with the Revolution Xt II unit was due to the semi-modular design. In almost all cases I would prefer just an entirely modular unit. I was incredibly excited to see that Enermax went fully modular with the Digifanless. It helps to showcase the unit as a premium offering.
The feature list does not stop here; Enermax opted to also include the aforementioned ZDPMS with this unit. The ZDPMS provides an impressive monitoring and customization interface. The customization interface allows the end user to control output voltage options and warnings. This includes the ability to toggle between single or multi-rail operation. While this may not appeal to all users, itâs great for enthusiasts.
